SPH Mediaworks Channel i or TV Works (Chinese: 报业传讯i频道, Before 3 March 2002: 报业传讯电视通) is a defunct Singapore English language terrestrial television station channel which began broadcasting on May 20, 2001 as 'SPH MediaWorks TVWorks' and relaunched on March 3, 2002 as 'SPH MediaWorks Channel i'. The channel was owned by SPH MediaWorks, a subsidiary of Singapore Press Holdings, is broadcast from 82 Genting Lane in Singapore. As a result of the media merger with MediaCorp TV is a terrestrial television station channel final broadcasting end closed sign-off shut down ceased transmission on January 1, 2005 as MediaCorp and Singapore Press Holdings demaed that the channel had no commercial viability because the Singapore English television market was so small. The channel's frequency was later taken-over by MediaCorp TV12 okto nearly four years later. In other words, this channel was replaced together with MediaCorp TV12 Kids Central and MediaCorp TV12 Arts Central when transferred from MediaCorp TV12 Central under MediaCorp TV12 okto since 20 October 2008. Channel i currently broadcasts via VHF (Very High Frequency), which located on VHF channel 30 in the Singapore. However, a weak UHF (Ultra High Frequency) signal is also receivable and also available over the StarHub TV a subscription-based pay television platform on channel 108.
