DESCRIPTION :

Scrabble the World's Best Loved Word Game is now the ultimate interactive word game! It is a famous world word board game, in which 2 to 4 players score points by forming words on a 15 x 15 game board. The words are formed across and down in a crossword fashion and must appear in a
standard dictionary.

Each letter has different points. Letters are used commonly worth only one point while less common letters socre higher. Board is makred with squares which multiply the amount of points awarded.
 
 HISTORY :
 

Scrabble was invented by Alfred Mosher Butts in 1938. Later on in 1948 James Brunot bout the
rights to manufacture the game and named it SCRABBLE. He slightly rearranged the premium squares
and changed the rules which increase the demand for the game.

In 1953 Brunot sold the manufacturing rights to Selchow and Righter company, which sold 3.8
million sets by the following year. Hasbro is the main distributor of Scrabble in United States.
Two millions sets are sold worldwide every year.
